Ergebnis: Ich hatte schon das Bios vom 7/12/95. Ich bekomme nur 2GB HDD angezeigt (Bios)
kann aber bis zu 8GB der 20GB Platte nutzen.
Kannst Du mir sagen, welches Bios Dein Board hat, bzw. ob es ein neueres HDD-Limit gefixtes Bios gibt.
Does anyone know where I can find the CMOS battery on this board?
I have a 5TD2 board with a P100 processor in use at home and am getting a CMOS checksum error since Sunday. I assume just the battery is out of order but I am not able to find it…

Hast Du eine Idee, wie man bestimmen kann ob man die Version „I“ oder „S“ benötigt.
Beim booten meldet mein Board Version A4.

Ja, pul mal den Sticker vom BIOS. Es ist entweder ein Intel BIOS oder eins von SST. Daher die Präfixe bei den BIOS-Files.

Yes Berthold,
it’s located in the bottom-right, labeled „ODIN“. The battery itself is glued-in the plastic package.
